Curious Explorer Summer Camp
Kayak, Tidepool, Hike, and Create!
June 29-June 2
8:15am-12:30pm
We will be exploring our incredible Peninsula playground, interacting with the myriad flora and fauna, learning about cultural and geological history to deepen our sense of place, and synthesizing our experiences through art projects and games.
We will start each day by learning about some of the things that make the Olympic Peninsula so special, from the ancient glaciers that created Lake Crescent to the incredibly resilient kelp forests just offshore. Next, we’ll set off on our adventure for the day, which could be kayaking, hiking, or tidepooling, applying what we’ve learned. Finally, we’ll integrate our experiences with games and art projects and wrap up the day with some well-earned snacks.
